Square Smooth Columns As illustrated below, simply adding a little cornice and chair rail, dramatically improves the look of plain old drywall enclosed supports. Just another example on how a small investments in trim can pay off big in terms of looks.  If you are looking at something special, just ask our design consultants.   These columns are great for hiding jack post in basements.  Most like using our pre-cut square columns because they are much faster to assemble than the drywall method.  Wood square columns have a more precise look to them as well.           back to top
